About the Study

An in-patient study for participants’ struggling with acute schizophrenia, where symptoms are particularly severe.  Participants will stay in Uptown Research’s observation unit. This study is sponsored by Roche Pharmaceuticals. 

Length of Study: 5 weeks in-patient, plus up to 9 additional weekly outpatient visits

Eligibility

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

• are between the ages of 18 – 45
• have been diagnosed with schizophrenia
• require in-patient psychiatric care

If chosen for this study, you will be compensated for every study visit that you complete and we can provide transportation if needed.
