About the Study

Do you have problems remembering things?

Common symptoms of schizophrenia can include trouble remembering, thinking, and reasoning (otherwise known as cognitive function). This study examines the safety and effectiveness of a new medication to improve cognition. Participants should also have a study partner (a friend, case worker, etc.) who is willing to talk with the research coordinator through out the study. This study is sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim.

Length of Study:  12 weeks

Eligibility 

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • are between the ages of 18 – 50 years old
  • have been diagnosed with schizophrenia
  • have trouble with cognitive function
  • are currently taking medication for schizophrenia

If chosen for this study, you will be compensated for every study visit that you complete and we can provide transportation if needed.
